Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, clicking to accept these terms, or using Eugene Housing Hub, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
What the Platform Does
Eugene Housing Hub is an Oregon-based platform that helps connect housing seekers, helpers, service providers, and approved agencies. We are not a landlord, property manager, broker, insurer, legal adviser, emergency service, or guarantor of any listing, service, user, communication, background claim, or housing outcome.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use this platform. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Eugene Housing Hub does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information as quickly as possible.
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use the platform only for lawful housing-related and community-support purposes. You are responsible for activity under your account and for promptly updating inaccurate or outdated information.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for your own screening, communications, decisions, agreements, safety planning, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including Oregon and federal laws relating to housing, discrimination, privacy, consumer protection, and any local permit or occupancy rules that may apply to your activity.
No Warranty
The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, suitable for your needs, or that any listing, service, message, or match will be truthful, lawful, safe, available, or successful.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eugene Housing Hub and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of housing opportunity, income, data, reputation, or goodwill arising from or related to your use of the platform, your reliance on user-generated content, or your interactions with other users.
Moderation and Enforcement
We may review, remove, restrict, suspend, or terminate content or accounts that appear to violate these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, safety requirements, or applicable law. We may also preserve or disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, or comply with legal obligations.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent superseded by applicable federal law.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the posted date, request renewed acceptance, or provide additional notice through the platform.
